University Advisors

There are a variety of routes of entry into professional careers for graduates. Many of the professional bodies offer targeted information and opportunities for graduates. This information can be found in the Sector Summaries. Each sector contains information directly from the professional bodies; it covers routes and qualifications and information on jobs and salaries, as well as general information on the types of jobs available. Check out our career videos for further information on what it is like to be an accountant or veterinary surgeon or most other professions.

The Professional Qualification Funding area provides information on how to find funding for these qualifications. In the University Students section we have provided a list of all of the professional qualifications by sector. The Graduate Placement area provides you with information on graduate schemes and work placements.

The Fair Access area provides information on access to university and organisations that are working with graduates to improve their chances of entering the professions.
